| I run Cherished Photography out of my home in Des Moines, Iowa. I am constantly trying to improve and find better ways to conduct business. To do my photography, I have two cameras that I use on a regular basis. My primary camera is the Canon 5D, which is a digital camera with 12.8 Mega Pixels, it has some serious fire power and will allow for images to be any size when printed. My secondary (backup camera) is a Canon Digital Rebel with 6.3 MPs. This camera also allows for large image size reproduction. With these cameras I have 4 exchangable lenses; a 50mm, 18-55m, 28-80m and 50-300m. I also use a Speedlight 420EX detatchable flash for darker shots when my Lighting Kit is unusuable. To shoot formal shots on Location and in my studio I have a Lighting Kit that has proved indispensible. I do charge for traveling over distances. Although, I am very willing to travel anywhere, there is a 30 cent surcharge for every mile from my base in Des moines, past a 30 mile boundry. For example, if your special occasion is 200 miles from Des Moines, there will be a $120 mileage charge. This is due before your occassion, unless otherwise agreed upon. There are two exceptions: If you live near Knoxville, Iowa or Sioux City, Iowa; there may not be a mileage charge, because we have family we can visit and stay with in those areas. Feel free to call and discuss your day, so we can determine what kind of charges, if any would be required. I do have to add if the event requires a flight you will be responsible for all those charges, along with hotel and car rental. This is for all out of state events, to be determined at the time of booking. I do not have a high enough overhead to cover these expenses myself. Do allow me to work with you to secure a low cost option to your special day. Any and all packages are negotiable. Prices and options are subject to change at any time and possibly without notice, unless the terms are already agreed upon by both parties. Please feel free to be as creative as you want, to make your package as special as your special moments. I reserve the right to refuse any and all offers and bids for my service. |
